Scott A. Bird
Scott Bird currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Olympus Wealth Management. He manages and seeks to preserve wealth for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with a focus on business strategy, organizational execution and day-to-day operations of the company.
Mr. Bird has over 18 years of experience working with wealthy families. Prior to co-founding Olympus Wealth Management, Mr. Bird worked at J.P. Morgan for seven years as an analyst, associate and most recently as a vice president and private banker. Mr. Bird first joined J.P. Morgan in 2006 in New York City, where he worked with the Worldwide Securities Services team to assess institutional risk and establish custody relationships in Latin America. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Bird worked at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in Los Angeles, where he partnered with one of Barron’s Top 100 Financial Advisors and helped oversee $16 billion in assets (https://www.barrons.com/report/top-financial-advisors/100/2009). From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Bird worked on the trading desk in Los Angeles, where he managed discretionary accounts and implemented trades across equities, hedge funds, private equity, real estate, foreign exchange and fixed income. From 2010 to 2013, Mr. Bird worked at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in Salt Lake City, where he advised wealthy families on investment management, credit needs, everyday cash management and formulated a comprehensive wealth plan that included sophisticated trust and estate planning.
Mr. Bird was named 40 Under 401 by Utah Business Magazine. He enjoys fitness, church service, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fly fishing, golf, football and being with his family. He lives in Davis County, Utah, with his wife and four children.
