Scott Poelman is a co-founder of Olympus Wealth Management and the Chief Business Development Officer. He leads the team’s efforts in business development and strategic planning. He specializes in helping business owners navigate the personal side of liquidity events, and he loves helping people find and fulfill their life’s purpose.
Mr. Poelman has over 17 years of experience working with wealthy families. Prior to co-founding Olympus Wealth Management, Mr. Poelman worked as a private banker for three years at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank. Before J.P. Morgan, Mr. Poelman worked as a tax lawyer for nearly six years at big law firms in California and Utah. As a tax lawyer, Mr. Poelman focused on tax planning for wealthy families and closely held businesses.
Mr. Poelman enjoys recreating with his family and friends and serving in his church. For recreating, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, boating, and playing games. He lives in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, with his wife and four children.
